Our girls are avid readers, but of course we can’t carry a mountain of books with us. So as we travel around we’ll add to the map the Little free libraries, book exchanges and secondhand stores we visit. We hope it might help other travelling families.
We’ve also discovered the Street Library website that has an awesome map of all the registered street libraries in the country. You can also report the ones you find direct to Street Library using Snap Send Solve (online or the app) so that others can find them as well!
We’ll be using their map to find others on our big trip (and maybe even around home)!
One thing we have discovered that many of the libraries are severely lacking in kids books. We wish we had bought some of ours to donate along the way. We’re hoping to find some cheap ones along the way to help stock up those we find again.
