The Schwartz family
Tackling the great Australian dream and doing “The Lap” in 2022-23
We’re the Schwartz’s – Garth, Hayley, Matilda and Emily. We come from the NSW Central Coast and we are hitting the road in our caravan, known as Jessie’s Dream in July 2022.
The girls are most looking forward to seeing Uluru, Lake Argyle and Karijini National Park (Matilda) and the big mango, boot and the cafe at the big banana (lol – Emily!).
Why Knee Deep?
Part of our reason for taking on the lap was to disconnect from the world for a while, get back to basics, nature and family. Mum (Hayley) is particularly looking forward to the break and loves the sentiment behind the song of the same name by the Zac Brown Band:
“Wishing I was knee deep in the water somewhere
Got the blue sky breeze and it don’t seem fair
Only worry in the world is the tide gonna reach my chair
Sunrise there’s a fire in the sky
Never been so happy
Never felt so high
And I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise”
