Saying goodbye

In loving memory of our Mum and Nell, Suzanne Ellis xox

Our next stop was the most special of the trip – our first visit to Ballard since Garth and Tristan’s beautiful Mum passed last year.

We were lucky to stop on the way to say hello to Roseanne, Ernie, Lisa, Wayne and the kids – we were probably lucky to leave as well, as the kids fell instantly in love with every single animal on the farm as well as young Nina!

Our time in Ballard was beautiful and emotional. That tiny lady left a big hole in her special place but we were lucky to spend such quality time all together, remembering her, making memories and just generally taking in the space her, Greg and coco have created. It truly is an oasis.

We were also lucky to have Audrey bunk with us in the van. Yay for sleepovers and adventures!

Family time

I think I’ll let the photos do the talking on this one.

We would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands we explore and pay our respects to the elders past, present and emerging.

Our travels today started on Yuggera country and finished with us resting and spending four special days on Barunggam country.
