Day 7 & 8 – Jessie’s Dream’s maiden voyage
After saying our goodbyes in Queensland we headed south.
First stop was Tenterfield for lunch with our friends Rob and Evelynne. The girls loved catching up with them (as we did!)

After lunch we headed for the last stop of the trip – one of our favourite little towns, Uralla.
Seriously, you cannot go past this pub without trying the food. It’s next level!
The little caravan park in town is also fantastic, easy sites, clean amenities and right next to a park for the girls to play in.
Oh and let’s not forget the fruit trees!
Dinner at the pub did not disappoint. The girls continued their tradition of writing in their travel journals while waiting for dinner.

The trip home the next day was a good one, made better by a gourmet picnic lunch at Willow Tree thanks to the Windsor Rapid Cafe (and the great little deli across the road)!

We would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands we
explore and pay our respects to the elders past, present and emerging.
Our travels started on Barunggam country. We travelled through Bundjalung, Ngarabal, and Gumbainggir country, before resting on
Ngabyaywana country. The following day we travelled through Kamilaroi, Geawegal, Wonnarua and Awabakal before returning to our home in Darkinjund/Guringai Country.
